You can ask Mentioflow to delete the data we hold about you and the Instagram accounts you connected. You have three options.
Option 1 — Disconnect (instant)
From the Mentioflow app, go to Settings → Connected Instagram accounts and click Disconnect. The Instagram access token is immediately invalidated and the account is marked inactive. No new DMs will be sent on your behalf.
Option 2 — Revoke from Instagram
Open Instagram and go to Settings → Apps and websites, find Mentioflow, and remove it. Instagram will then send a deauthorization callback to us; we receive the request, scrub the encrypted token, and mark the account inactive.
Option 3 — Full account deletion
To delete your Mentioflow account entirely (the user record, all connected Instagram accounts, every automation, and all DM logs), email mentioflow@gmail.com from the email registered on your account, with the subject “Data deletion request”. We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your Mentioflow user record (name, email, password hash).
- Connected Instagram accounts including the encrypted access tokens.
- Automations and their templates.
- DM logs and lead records associated with your account.
- Operational logs are retained up to 30 days for security purposes, then deleted automatically.
What we keep
We retain billing records (invoices, transactions) where required by tax law, typically for 7 years, and a record that a deletion request was honoured (so we can prove we processed it).
Tracking your request
If your deletion was triggered by Meta’s data deletion callback, we returned a confirmation_code. You can check status by appending it to this URL like: /data-deletion?code=del_xxxxxxxxx.
